Obtaining Permissions (or “Licenses”)
Giving credit for all borrowings and or usage does not relieve you of the need to obtain permissions. Please note; It is your responsibility and you are legally required to obtain permission from copyright owner to copy, reproduce, utilize, photograph, write, draw, translate, or paraphrase any work or part of a work that is protected by copyright under the copyright act unless the fair use exception applies. Most countries have signed international agreements to enforce the copyright laws. This means that you must obtain permission to reproduce works created or published outside as well as within the United States.
I the author, client of Rev Marketing 2U, Inc. Hereby acknowledge and truthfully state that all of the content, images, logos, manuscript, and or anything within the book is mine or that I have permission(s) to utilize in my book to be published by Rev Marketing 2U, Inc. I, the Author assures the Publisher the right to assign the copyright and that no portion of the copyright to the work has been assigned previously.
I, the Author agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Publisher against any claim, demand, suit, action, proceeding, recovery of expense of any claim whatsoever arriving from any claims of plagiarism, libel, slander, obscenity, unlawfulness, or invasion of privacy or copyright infringement in the work, that are finally sustained in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Permission to use previously copyrighted material shall be obtained at the Author’s expense from the copyright proprietor.
I, the undersigned Author hereby acknowledge and give the Publisher, Rev Marketing 2U, Inc. rights to publish book as per agreed upon terms in said contractual agreement as printed version and or ePub versions(s).
